THE LION KING.

This a children's film based on the play of Hamlet written by Shakespeare.

In the original play the characters are an aristocratic and rich family who are human, whereas in The Lion King the characters are animals. In both Hamlet and The Lion King the families are from the royalty. The main theme in both is the revenge.

The story is different from the play to the film. Both has the same important fact that is the father's death, but, apart from that the plot is totally different. In The King Lion, Hamlet is Simba who run away from the kingdom after his father's death. Although the Plot is different the important fact which is the death of the king, is the same in both.

In the fragment below, we can see the moment of Mufasa's death that corresponds to the fragment of Hamlet's death in the original work of Shakespeare.
